I am 23 years old, and for the last two years of my life, I have suffered from chronic pain due to a neck injury. Like many other people, I have been proscribed a wide range of solutions by my doctors. Pills, ointments, etc. Nothing that worked that allowed me to stay sober and sharp, or if it did, it didn't dull the constant ache. This stuff is just what the doctor ordered. I had pulled a muscle in my neck and applied a very small amount of biofreeze, whalla!!! The company is wonderful too, product delivered just as promised. Need to recommend this one to friends. I broke my ankle one year ago and have had lingering nerve pain and tightening of my plantar fascia will have to give it a try tonight (that's when its most painful). Biofreeze won't cure anything, but it works very well at temporarily relieving muscle pain in an aching back, for example. A big plus, compared to other menthol rubs such as Icy Hot or Vicks, is that Biofreeze is a gel. It completely disappears after only a few minutes of rubbing into the sore muscles, leaving no greasy residue. Pain relief generally lasts for at least several hours. I have not found it to be effective for use on sore, aching joints, but it's great for muscle pain.Customer Review: Grrrreat

I love this stuff. Better than sports cream or aspercream, which don't work for me. I totally tweaked my back and initially did nothing, so it did not get better. I put biofreeze on it and the next day, it was 50% better. The 2nd day of application, 90% better. Today, I feel 100%. Saved me a visit to the chiropractor ($50 a pop). My mom has a herniated disc that she doesn't want surgery and I've been in numerous car accidents, so I regular hurt. We both swear by Biofreeze.Customer Review: It works.

This product was first recommended to me by my chiropractor. I love it because it works. Its takes a few minutes because it subtley and deeply penetrates into the muscle. The scent is okay. I recommend using gloves unless you also suffer from arthritis in your hands and fingers. If you don't use plastic gloves, be sure to wash you hands very well after you use it, otherwise things like rubbing your nose or eyes, etc may cause stinging and discomfort. Great product!!
