I had injured my back badly in 1996 and it's never been the same. I had tried many different kinds of ointments, bengay, etc. none of them worked. The first time I tried Biofreeze I remember I put it on the night I bought it and went to bed. When I got up the next morning it felt like someone had oiled my back. Usually when I get up in the mornings that is the worse time for me. I'd be near tears and almost need help to get up. But the difference when I tried Biofreeze was almost miraculous for me and I've been using it ever since. I own this and the roll on. I prefer the gel, although they both work great.
I live with fibromyalgia and the pain can be more than blinding. I have back pain that rarely goes below a five, which I can live with; it's when it spikes and stays above a seven or more when things go bad. I'm still amazed just about every time that I use this product. It's hard to believe the effectiveness of this product.
I'm on serious pain management meds and sometimes Biofreeze is what it takes above all that to get relief. So, of course, this comes with my highest recommendation.

This is the BEST product for muscular-backpain product I've ever used. Definitely worth the shipping costs-Im in costa rica so its even more to pay than if I were a costumer in the US, and still soooooo worth it!
You don't have to rub it very much, pretty effortless, and in about 2 minutes it starts working, you can really feel it cooling the area where applied deep down into the muscles. The scent does fade away, and yes it has menthol but its not like other products where it really smells for hours. Would definitely recommend it, and will buy it again when mine is gone.

I first got turned on to Biofreeze by my chiropractor. I was hesitant because pain releiving gels really irritate my sensitive skin. This not only didn't hurt me but it actually made me feel alot better. Since then it has become a staple in my house. My mother has used it consistently since a car accident caused her immense shoulder pain and my fiance has used it to soothe his ankle after fracturing it in three places. You can only get this on the internet, in massage supply stores or in doctors offices. Not many know about it but everybody should. It's a great product!Customer Review: Good Stuff

I was introduced to this product a few years back through the spa where I get massages. I find that it is easy to apply, doesn't have a "medicine" odor, and it really works to help alleviate pain while you are healing from back strain or other muscle strains. Though I have not personally used it as such, I have been told that after any exercise that is particularly strenuous like running for example, Biofreeze can be used to prevent aches and pains that might or usually occur as a result of that activity.
I highly recommend this product without hesitation.
