Customer Review: So So but great for bad breath!

I took the plunge and bought both the gel and spray. I already normally brushed my dogs teeth daily with another brand's poultry toothpaste. The new routine was two sprays in the morning after a quick brush with water, and in the evening I put the gel on a toothbrush to apply, then two more sprays. I really only missed two evening applications because I fell asleep.
I thought this product would be great. Seeing as how I just got my male IG's teeth cleaned, I thought this product would be a great preventative and hopefully take the place of future cleanings. Here's my results after over 30 days of use. My female IG's breath smelled better, it could be from the alcohol in it. Not much change in plaque. My male had no change, but keep in mind his teeth were already clean. So, I guess it kept them clean. I feel like if I just used my old toothpaste twice a day instead of once it would have done the same job.
So, I stopped using it and went back to my old toothpaste, only now they get brushed twice a day. The main reason why I stopped was because they really hated the gel and spray! They would run away from this instead of running to me like before. They just LOVE their poultry toothpaste, it's like a treat to them. I get compliments on how well behaved my dogs are when getting dental exams, I would hate to change that behavior.
After using the product for 30 days, I have come to a conclusion. The product is rather easy to apply, much quicker than a full brushing with standard paste. With that in mind, I think more users will be likely to keep up the regimen. So for most people, this will provide a decent result with minimal effort. However, since I normally brushed at least once daily already, I don't think there was much of a difference.
