If you've ever tried to hold a flashlight while knotted up under a kitchen sink to fix a leak, or dropped your light in the attic floor insulation looking for an unmarked box, then you might want to have this little headlamp in your tool box. I don't camp or explore caves and imagined this thing might be a wasteful tool fetish purchase. But I've used this innumerable times and it's amazing. Most importantly, it throws a surprising amount of light hands free. The design is brilliant..pun intended. There's a disc that snugs to the rear of the light that you pull and whoa, it's tethered by a retracting cord on each side of it so expands to your head size. How Mission Impossible, Tom-Cruise-hanging-from-a-ceiling-esque. Anyway, like the other reviewers, I am very impressed with this light and highly recommend it. Mine came with the hard case pouch so maybe that's changed.
