I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of these towels. I have purchased towels before that turn pretty thin after a few washings. These are still nice and fluffy and seem like new even after a month or so. One drawback is that the wash cloths are oversized. It's not a deal breaker but they and the hand towels fold different than the rest of my linens and make my stack inside my closet unstable (yeah, I know, a domestic crisis, right?). I thought that bit of information might be useful to some super anal domestic god or goddess. As far as fluffiness and quality, I give it TWO thumbs up!Customer Review: Nice, fluffy and very absorbant.

To reviewers who said towels are not absorbant: Not just these towels but any cotton towels that are washed with softeners will not absorb water. You'll need to wash them with regular detergent without adding any softeners and they will come out from the dryer very nice, very fluffy and very absorbant.
I got several sets (bluestone) for $19.99 during a one day sale. I could easily paid that amount just for 1 bath towel alone. I'm very pleased with them and will be looking to buy more in the future.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. After she opened the gift, I offered to wash the towel sets for her before she returned home, and when they came out of the dryer, the edges were all fraying. I know the rule about getting what you pay for, and if it seems to good to be true it probably is (6 piece $50. towel set for only $17.), but I have never recieved a bad product from Amazon, no matter what the price. These towels are nice and thick as well as being very absorbent. They are also a good size -- larger than many in this price range. The only con is that the binding along the edges is not sewn on very well or is too close to the edge, so you get a bit of fraying, even on the first washing before you use the towels. Be sure you wash them without anything you don't want to get covered with cotton bits -- they shed a lot when you first wash them.Customer Review: Quite nice for the money

I ordered these towels specifically for my guest bath (I have a lot of family visitors) and they get plenty of use. The bluestone color matches very well the steely blue decor of the bathroom. These towels come out of the dryer just as full and colorful and absorbent as the day I got them. They are slightly over-sized and provide better coverage than other towels at this price point. All-in-all, a great value for the money.
