Customer Review: These "flannel" sheets work for me!
Summary: 4 Stars
I have to agree with another reviewer who characterized these sheets as "snuggly warm". I do feel I sleep better between these sheets. I tried some in November on a "Friday Sale" and am pleased enough to order more at the non-sale price.
It is true they are one-sided. That is not a problem with the fitted bottom sheet but you will not get the "flannel feel" if you do not observe which side is which for the top sheet.
I assigned my review 4-stars instead of five because these are _not_ flannel in the same sense as one thinks of a flannel shirt; rather they are made of a synthetic flannel. In a way this is a _good_ thing at laundry time -- the synthetic flannel does _not_ absorb as much water as (real) cotton flannel. Consequently, they dry easily. I have detected no napping of the pile; no dryer lint beyond that of a normal wash load.
NOW, I expect that "D. Dowd" will comment on my review to inform everyone yet once again, "The best place to get your fleece sheets is at Kohl's." That may be so, but Kohl seemed to offer only plaid cotton flannel sheets by Columbia Sportswear Company, at a greater price. I definitely prefer solid colors for my sheets. Furthermore, such sheets are no longer available (this season, at least) from Kohl's.
