Customer Review: Super comfortable - but with horrible smell

The pillow smelled really bad when I first received my order, so I left it without the cover on the balcony to air out for few days. After 3 or 4 days of airing I decided to give it a try. OMG!!!! It was SO comfortable! Not too soft, not too hard, just perfect. It provided really nice neck support, and my whole head felt like it was being gently hugged. But my S.O. said in the morning that he could barely get any sleep because of the smell, and blamed his headache on the "toxic fumes" from the pillow... I took the pillow back on the balcony, hoping that extra time in fresh air would take care of it. It's been 5 weeks now and the smell has not gotten any lighter... S.O. is demanding that I either return it to Amazon or throw it out, as he will not allow this pillow back in the bedroom... I'm so disappointed of not being able to get rid of the odor, as this is possibly the most comfortable pillow I've ever used :-( If it didn't stink like that I'd give it 5 stars without a doubt.Customer Review: best pillow I ever slept with

I purchased this pillow in late February on a Friday sale for 18.99. I was skeptical, but the reviews gave me some hope that this might work for me. Like others have mentioned in their reviews, the cover seems to restrict the ability of the pillow to adhere to my head, neck, shoulder alignment, so I just use a regular pillowcase. I "work with" the shaping of the pillow to my head, neck, and shoulder until it "feels just right". I must say that I've never slept better and wake up without kinks in my neck and stiffness in my shoulders. I would like a better zip-up pillowcase though since my regular pillowcases often slip off the pillow during the night. I am now looking for a similar travel pillow that I can use on my long commute to work and back on trolley, bus, and sometimes train. Compact in size while still providing the gentle support required when I lean up to the side of the commuter vehicle to catch a few extra winks while I am traveling to my destination.Customer Review: Fabulous, the PERFECT pillow

I bought this for my partner. He loved it and I wanted to steal it from him. I tried it once and never gave it back! It is firm yet so comfortable. I had to order a second one! It is great for a back sleeper and it keeps it's shape. Unlike most pillows I have bought. This one never bunches or is half a pillow. I have bought literally hundreds of pillows looking for one that is *it*. This is *it* for me. I am going to buy another one as I love the cover too. Normally I must have my CK pillowcases with the combed cotton. I just would LOVE to have more pillowcases like this. I am a pillow snob as I have back and neck problems and this cradles the neck perfectly! I don't have to wake up during the night and *fix* the pillow or fluff it. I will be buying this for gifts. I am loving these pillows! Now the only problem is where to find pillowcases like these? If you don't like a firm pillow don't buy..if you do buy buy!Customer Review: great so far!

i purchased this product as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend, who's complained of years of waking up with neck and shoulder pain while going through a variety of pillows. the reviews on this seemed pretty decent and, given the price, it seemed a good enough value to give it a shot.
in the couple of weeks she's had it, it's totally met expectations. she's had no pain at all, has slept quicker and more soundly, and i even find myself sneaking over onto it and sharing it with her some nights. definitely want to get another one to make the pair.
obviously haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity and durability. but we haven't had any problems with scent, which was a major concern when making the purchase as it had been mentioned multiple times in reviews.
if you're looking for a soft but supportive, and very comfortable pillow, for the price, i'd recommend this one.

After much searching for a pillow to support my aching neck (Buckwheat just wasn't doing it for me!), I thought I'd try the Micro Bead Therapy Pillow and I'm very glad I did. It takes a little getting used to but the great night's sleep I've been getting is worth it. If I feel I don't need as much support as the one rolled side gives, I turn the pillow around. The micro beads are baffled so there is some adjustablilty for comfort. Like another reviewer, I do not use the accompaning pillowcase as I find it makes the pillow a little too firm however a standard pillowcase fits it fine. I recommended it to a friend and she is now the proud owner of the Micro Bead pillow also.
I highly recommend this pillow for anyone who has any kind of neck problems or prior or impending neck surgery and is finding a good night's sleep elusive due to neck pain.
