We had found an Art Deco small wardrobe (probably a child's wardrobe) put out on the verge for bulk rubbish pickup. We asked if we may take it and took it home and restored it. We wanted to make it into a wine cabinet so we needed to have a wine rack put into it. This wine rack was absolutely perfect. It was easy to assemble and took to staining easily. It fits into the cabinet like a dream. We are delighted not only with the wine rack itself, but also with the customer service we were given by the Manufacturers. They were most helpful. This wine rack is a great value and was a breeze to assemble. The shipper packed the rack really well so nothing was damaged and given the odd size of the box, I'm sure it was dropped a few times. The only bad side was the assembly directions were torn up inside but they were not really needed. Be aware the wood is pretty unfinished and could use a quick sanding. Not the height of fashion or stability but it gets the job done. If you're looking for a wine rack to put in the living room or needed it to be free standing you should probably spend more to get a better looking / more sturdy unit. But if you're planning to put it in the basement against a wall (which is where mine is) the price is right and assembly is easy (if you have a power screwdriver).Customer Review: good basic wine rack

Very easy assembly, and very sturdy. Only downside is that it only holds standard bottles. I have some whites in slightly wider bottles (similar to champagne bottles) and they don't fit. Also, be aware that you really can't use it horizontally, which was my original intention. Otherwise, I would certainly recommend this rack - a good value for the price.Customer Review: Does what it should

It holds wine. Pretty simple. Easy to put together IF you have an electric screwdriver or a drill.
Doesn't hold odd shaped bottles, just cab 750s. Stout pinot bottles are a tough fit.
Cheap and good for the basement. It's not a fancy pants display, so load it up next to the Christmas decoration storage.
