This shower curtain is very nice quality. The fabric is well-woven, with no flaws that I could find, and the sewing is precise. The color is a nice neutral color, a cool oatmeal rather than too warm an earth tone. Because of the thickness of the fabric, especially where doubled along seams, I wouldn't suggest letting it get wet on a daily basis (for fear of mildew). As others have mentioned, a liner would be needed.
For me, the downside is the weight. We have a spring-tension shower curtain rod, and it occasionally gives way just with a light polyester curtain on it. As soon as I felt the weight of the box when it arrived, I decided not to even try using it in our bathroom. This is not sheet-thickness cotton, it's more like a bedspread. I'm saving it to use in front of a storage alcove in our bedroom, where I can install a rod on a strong bracket.
