I ordered this item to go with a heating pad I purchased for use in the UK. It fits into the plug properly and everything is tight, but to get electronics to work from a 120v system to the UK system, you need a voltage converter. I had no idea about this, and now have to buy a voltage converter that will also do the same job as this adapter. Two products when I only needed one. This product does work fine though, just make sure it will work for what you need it to do before purchasing.Customer Review: Rating plug in adapter

I am pleased to find the plug in adapter on Amazon. They are difficult to find in the shops, and I will be needing one on my trip to Scotland. It arrived in the packaging and in mint condition and in enough time before my trip. I am very pleased with the product and love Amazon! Thank you for being there.
My shopping is somewhat limited because I don't have a car. But with Amazon, I need not worry. They have everything I would need. And I am always treated with respect.

I ordered this product because I needed a polarized UK plug adapter. I was charged 7.25 for shipping but the plugs only cost 1.85 to ship to me, which is a total ripoff. Even worse, when I attempted to plug anything into the adapters it fell right out! Nothing will stay plugged into them, so they aren't even usable. They are not the plugs pictured here, they are much cheaper and don't work. Don't bother buying these adapters.Customer Review: a waste of good money.

Bought this. Went to the UK. Plugged it in. It worked for about an hour. Imagine how much it sucks to NEED a plug converter for your camera battery charger when you're 5 thousand miles from home, in a foreign country, and spent hard-earned money on this thing. EXACTLY. Buy the Targus converter/adapter instead. It just works, and that's what you'll need - something that just works -not sucks.Customer Review: Don't buy

I received this item right before I left to study abroad in the UK, and it doesn't work at all. I have tried every single outlet for it and when plugging in the US plug into the adaptor, it does not stay in. I was highly disappointed. If it wasn't for the fact I received a different one as a gift, I would be out of luck or have to buy one here. Which is really expensive.
