I install this unit PW 2300 with ease and got it up and running in a few hours. I placed it in the cab of my pic-up truck. There was little room to place this uint in the engine compartment. I used a high quality power cable I purchased from Amazon as well. I 3 cables each of 4 AGW to the power uint and fused it as well for safety. I was able to run my power tools with no issues in having enough amps to run them. The remote shout off worked as expected. The unit is not very compact and needs proper ventilation to avoid damaging from over heating. So before buying this unit consider were you will install it in your vehicle. The power unit states in its installation instruction not to mont to any surface that can catch fire or on any flammable surface.
