Customer Review: False Advertising and a scam! NOT A 4400 watt peak or even a 3500 watt continious

This is another example of pulling the wool over the eyes of the American buying public! First off a 6.5 HP 200cc motor is physically incapable of producing these kinds of wattages; this unit does not produce any more than 2800 continuous watts and a peak of surge of only 3400 watts when a continuous load was put on it. It all looks good on paper but when it's put to the actual test it won't even run what other models on Amazon will for less money. Save your money don't be scammed by false advertising and get a name brand with real specifications. These guys are flat out lying about these specs.Customer Review: The PowerMax XP4400 Generator

Thie is a 5 Star, small, powerfull and quite Generator. (1) I must share the voltage switch is also a tap changer, do not switch unless breaker is off (open) or generator is shut down. (2) This generator and many have an aluminum cylinder and no oil filter, make your first two oil changes sooner than 20 hrs., I would recommend 6 hrs. for 1/st, 12-14 hrs. for the 2/nd, 20 hrs. then after. Break it in not out! Don't overload this fine generator and be diligent with oil changes and it will serve you long and well.

My husband has been wanting a generator for a long time. I finally decided to get one for his birthday (which is today). He's big on quality and durability. And since he's a machinist/welder, he's hard to please.
I am happy to say the generator was exactly as all other reviews. Well made, good quality, quiet and durable. It started right up and as usual, amazon delivered exactly when they said they would. And I read that the assembly was done in China under a manufacturing contract with Honda. Regardless, for the price, you can't beat it. I certainly recommend.

We live were looking for something small, easy and of quality. This was easy to assemble and we even gave it a try even though the power did not cut off on us. A little noisy (who cares) but its better then losing all my food in the freezer. Its was even cheaper on Amazon then it was at Costco. Now we can relax a bit that a storm will not disrupt or lives completly. Remember to buy some gas stabilizer for your spare tanks and even went so far to keep the battery on a maintainer so we are ready at what ever comes our way. We live on the North California Coast and every year we suffer from heavy storms that may cut out our electric power, at times for more than one day. As a protection, we just bought,through Amazon, this little generator, a good compromise of convenient price,essential power, small size and ease of operation. Amazon was perfect in providing quick delivery just before the holidays- with easy instructions we got it to a fast start and tested it repeatedly with success. We are very pleased and we recommend it.
