Gen. Started up in seconds !!
I ran my window unit AC, Medium size and a heater. No problem in a test.
Took about a 3000 watt. load no problem. Ran for about 30 minutes.
Very quiet for price. Pull started very easy.
Electric start worked well.
The one problem I am working on is the charging time it takes for it
to charge the Batt. I seem to have a very slow trickle charge.
Charged great with Batt. charger and 12vdc jumper but slow to charge
with Gen.
I check wireing and voltage was about 14.3 vdc to batt. I can live with it. Overall it works great !! Will add if I have any problems.
Great backup for the price. Enjoy....

The electric start died after 1 use. I checked the battery and it was fully charged. If I tap the solenoid with the key turned, it will start -- reminds me of an old car I once had. The pull start works nice and easy, so far -- but I paid the extra $50 for the electric start, so I'm not real pleased.
Also, I can not get this generator grounded. Tried connecting to an existing grounding rod and to my water pipes, no luck. I guess I'll try to my utility panel ground next -- my house sockets are grounded -- I double checked. If that doesn't work then I don't know what else to do.
Otherwise it seems to run well though have yet to put it to the test in an outage.
It is quieter than I expected.

Ordered during an emergency power outage, had delivered in 2 days. My father is unable to pull a crank so it was important to find a generator with electric start. For the PRICE, you cannot beat it. period. You can find a nicer generator with electric start, but for an extremely quiet, electric start you are looking at close to 1000.00 if not more. This is surprisingly quiet, and I am tickled it was so cheap. I am even happier with the service I got from Amazon. Any time I want something fast, I order from them. I got it in a little over 24 hours (I ordered at 10:30 p.m.)for a flat $3.99. Every other place was at LEAST $250 next day shipping. AWESOME experience. So far I am delighted with this XP4400E generator. It arrived via FEDEX fine, packing is superb, and assembly of wheel kit and handles was very straiaght forward. I did charge the battery overnight before adding oil and preparing unit to start. It started immediately and ran smooth right out of the box. I really do like the electric start feature as my wife can start generator with no problems. Unit is not too loud and is easily moved about on the wheels. Only tested so far by running a vacuum cleaner. I am planning to have transfer switch wired into our breaker panelmainly to run well pump, pellet stove and a few lights. The included instruction manual is quite good and includes detailed parts listing.Customer Review: Great unit for the money

Item was delivered exactly as described, and in perfect condition with the exception of a small amount of surface rust on the underside front support bar. Some light brushing and a few srokes of Rustoleum paint made everything fine.(not unusual for any steel unit, and I have had many) Performance of the unit was impressive, not noisy and all outputs were fine. Easy starting, no smoking even with choke on. Very easy to move around with the large wheels. Change engine oil after 2 hrs run as you should with any new small engine. I power my whole house with the exception of central air and the stove, which in an emergency I do not care about.
Added bonus: As always, "Amazon" knows how to treat customers.
