For the most part I am happy with this generator. It seems to do the job. However, it has 2 glitches that need to be noted. The fuel guage window has become more and more opaque over the short 3 months that I have owned the generator. The plastic used in the guage window is obviously not fuel vapor resistant- However, I can live with this. One other note- The fuel line turn-off valve (the one below the tank) leaks slightly when in the "flow on" position. I think I can replace it with a simple motorcycle tank valve that it closely resembles. Other than these two items- It works just great and the price was absolutely right.

The XP3500 Features: A Durable PowerMax brand 6.5 Hp, air cooled OHV engine with low oil shutoff. (4 stroke motor). Heavy duty steel frame with four point fully isolated motor mounts for smooth and quiet operation. Wheel kit w front handle for easy transporting. Full power panel with engine shutoff switch, volt meter, circuit breaker and power outlets. (2) Fully protected 120V outlets & (1) 120V/240V twist-lock outlet. 8 Hour run time. All steel 3.2 gal. fuel tank with ez-read gauge. Low oil shut-off protects engine. Super quiet muffler reduces engine noise. Idle control holds RPM at a constant level even under heavy loads for fuel savings and noise reduction. Specifications: Max AC Output: 3500 watts. Rated AC Output: 3000 watts Current (120V/240VAC & 12VDC) Low oil shutoff. 6.5 Hp air cooled OHV engine~Max Amps (25+). Fuel Tank Capacity: 3.2 gallon.
