Bought 2 , one for my mother-in-law and myself.
I like the idea of carrying one charge cable between the car and the house.
This 120VAC to 12VDC 800ma wall adapter allows me this convenience at a low $$$.
I use it with the 12VDC to dual USB charge outlet plug.

I don't understand why these converters are so hard to find. I have tried another that did not function - at all. Nearly everyone has a device - computer, camera, GPS, Cell phone with a DC charger. With this converter the DC charge cable is the only one that you need to carry; you can plug the cable into the cigarette lighter as intended, or plug into this converter and into an AC socket - Everyone should have one. It works wonderfully well. I have purchased several and given to family and friends.Customer Review: Great adapter.

I purchased a blue tooth device for my wife that provides excellent hands free cell phone support in the car. The only weakness with the device was that you could only charge it in the car. If you don't want the wire for the charger hanging down in front of you, you use the device alot when you're in the car and you mostly take short trips in the car, when do you charge it. The answer was this device and it works perfectly as advertised. My wife and I are both very satisfied with this device.Customer Review: works for me

This combined with a Belkin Model F8Z184 car charger adapter powers my iPod Touch 3rd Gen perfectly. Other adapters put out only 500-800mw. 500mw will not even let the iPod recognize the power supply. 800mw will allowing charging, but if you try to use the iPod while on the charger, the display will go crazy or the sliding on-button won't slide over to allow it to turn on.
This adapter fully powers the iPod. Works great.
