I compared similar products and the reviews and thought this one should do the job for a reasonable price. Along with charging low draw electronic I wanted it to power a 12 volt inflator. I could blow up an air bed from the car, but not in the house, this solved the problem perfectly. I bought this item to power a 12v spot light from West Marine. The light works fine when powered by my car's cigarette lighter. However, when using the PowerLine unit, my light was very dim - appearing as if it wasn't getting enough power. This item might be fine for powering other items but it didn't work out for me. Thanks to Amazons great return policy, I was able to return the item and get a refund.Customer Review: Works well!

I bought this for playing a car dvd player which needed 1A minimum at home so the baby can watch Baby movies while we can watch our own movies on our player too. Packaging was great. Materials does not look cheap. I only gave 4 stars because the folding plug kind of folds on me when I try to plug it in. However, I understand that its purpose was for convenient storage when you don't need it.Customer Review: Cheap!

This is junk! I too bought one and tried to use it for my cell phone. It worked for about 5 minutes and went dead! No puff, no click, no noise, just DEAD! It's not worth the time and money. I found a better one online that has a higher output rating that works great. The only difference is the better one is not as compact and it has a 3 foot cord attached to the lighter plug.Customer Review: Only got a car charger?! Solved!

The adapter unit is 1000mA UL Listed, with folding wall socket blades, and an attached end cap on the cigarette lighter socket as well. A well made adapter ... It's easily packed, stored, or carried. It is the solution for devices like my Jabra BT5050 speakerphone which only comes with a car cigarette lighter charger. Jabra charges perfectly Indoors now.
