This thing is expensive and well-made. Quality steel if there every was any and quality made. In fact it is so good it tore the tapered flange right off my pulley! Shows you how good that Chinese steel used in the power steering pulley is. It tore it right off! So I had to buy two new pulleys (one if all went right, another just in case). Who's the idiot who made these pulleys out of plastic? Plastic ages, loses moisture to the elements, becomes brittle, and eventually falls apart (like in your hands). That's what happened to the plastic fan shourd and plastic fan tab too. Yes, J.B. Weld repairs plastic car parts! I finally got the old pulley center steel section off with a dremel tool metal cutting blade (took two days). This is one powerful, well-made puller. Wish I could say the same about the pulley. P.S. Amazon had the lowest price on it.
