I bought a slightly older version of this model in 2006 (the 1750). I used it lightly (deck and driveway a couple times a year), and while it worked, it was just what I needed. But this Spring when I pulled it out of storage, the pressure had dropped to a level barely above what a normal garden hose would produce.
The company was helpful in that they tried resolving the issue over a few emails, but when we exhausted the obvious possibilities, they stopped responding.
I was hoping that for light duty applications like mine, I wouldn't have to buy a more expensive gas pressure washer, but given my experience and everything I've heard from others that have had electric washers, their quality is just too low to be a smart long-term purchase. So I won't be buying electric again; guess I'll look for a better quality gas powered washer.

Lesson learned. I failed to read all the reviews and ordered the unit. Used it once and when I tried to use it again, the pressure hose would not remain attached to the machine. It appears that the materials used in the hose threads is too soft and when I contacted the company, they said that I must have crossthreaded the hose attachment. Agreed to ship me another hose unit in 10-14 days but I am concerened that the replacement unit, with the soft metals used by the manufacturer, that it will crossthread again. I am really displeased with the unit and should have read the other reviews where others had similar problems. If the replacement hose crossthreads, I am returning for full refund. Why does a manufacturer continue to use the soft threading materials on their hose when the repeatedly have problems with crossthreading?Customer Review: Short life and shoddy service

My PW 1800-U worked about ten times over a year before the spray gun developed a bad leak. Not enough water stayed in the gun to give it any useful pressure. I took it apart but couldn't locate the problem so I emailed service. Nobody answered for about two weeks then the response from the technician was, "If the spray gun leaks you need to replace it. " So no help whatsoever there! There are several places where the seal is made by O rings but none look worn, and there are no parts lists or diagrams to show what part fits where or what the specs are. I'm very disappointed in a product that didn't deliver even a moderate amount of work without a serious failure and comes with a useless manual and worse technical service. I wouldn't buy this product and I'd send mine back to Amazon if I could.

This power washer is ready to go, right out of the box! The garden hose is attached to the fitting on the back, the washer hose is taken off the reel and attached to the fitting on the front, plug in to an electric outlet, turn on the hose, and voila, you have a pressurized spray! Unlike the Karcher unit which I purchased from Costco, and had to assemble, only to have the tank fall off and the fitting where the garden hose attached leak like the Titanic, the installation was seamless and the pressure washer's performance was superb. Same with a Sistema power washer, piece of junk and no customer support. The Sistema 800 number is not answered. I ordered a part which never arrived; nor was my credit card charged. Spend a little more on this washer and you will not be disappointed.Customer Review: WHO'S YOUR DADDY

I purchased this pressure washer and all of it's accessories for my father. I do not know how it performs or how well it is holding up. I have not asked my father as of yet either but he has not complained so I expect it to be well worth the money I spent to get this gadget. Either way, I can't complain. It made it to his house on time and was delivered as scheduled. Something I can say good about the postal service now a days because everything else I seem to purchase gets lost or stolen. Way to go Amazon.com!!! Hoody Hoo!!!! I hope the big guy upstairs has something in store for all the people who do wrong in this world. May your judgment be swift and not so merciful.
