I've tried spoons, cardboard edges, and my fingertips. What I like about this product is the silicone does not stick to the edger when wipe off right away. It gives you several groove sizes, but I used the small size to make it look tighter. A thumbs up from a weekend fix-er-upper guy.Customer Review: Does not work

This product does not work unless you have a perfect 45 angle on your project and the perfect amount of caulk. I used mine for several minutes trying to get it right only to realize I had wasted my money. It just doesn't work. Hope this works and take care.Customer Review: Fun tools; easy to use

Caulk was just what I needed. The scraping tool was wonderful. The corner tools were only OK. My walls were not quite square, and it left too much caulk behind. I ended up using my finger to smooth, which left a great line behind.Customer Review: better than my finger
