I inherited this purification system with my new (to me) house 15 years ago. It has always worked great (good tasting water, high flow rate, long-lasting cartridges). As you can imagine, I have replaced the filter cartridges multiple times over the years. Imagine my surprise when I open the latest set and find that the physical length of the cartridge has suddenly grown by over an inch. Fortunately for me, there was just enough clearance over the floor for the new cartridges to fit; however, it could have been a nasty surprise. So, if you have an older system where the installed cartridge bottoms are within 2" of the floor, beware.
