Tools and Hardware Reviews of Quakehold! 33111 Museum Gel, ClearCustomer Review: Clear Museum Gel works as advertised - good price Summary: 4 Stars
Worked well at keeping a top heavy vase in its place, despite having two cats who enjoy tipping over breakables. I'd give it 5 stars, but there is a litte movement in the vase if you give it a firm push. But to be fair, the surface is a little grainy and pourous. I'd certainly buy again from Amazon given the price and convenience.
Customer Review: Quakes or Bumps--It Holds Fast Summary: 5 Stars
This is an amazing product! I used it to hold some pieces of my Swarovski collection in my china cabinet and it lives up to its description. Some of my pieces are very delicate and not as secure as I'd like them to be, but with Museum Gel I have no worries about accidently bumping into the cabinet. The Gel holds as advertised.
Customer Review: Works great! Summary: 5 Stars
Really interesting how this product sticks my vases and valuable glasses down. I can't hardly see it. I know it said not for use on wood but I have a piano with a very thick finish and it worked just fine and came off completely. Overall, I am impressed that it sticks so well and I can't see it underneath.
Customer Review: Cannot Use Summary: 1 Stars
I am not able to use this gel because I wanted to use it on a piece of wooden furniture under several pieces of LLadro. The instructions say only under and on impenetrable objects. Oh well, live an d learn. I do wish Amazon would specify this. Unless they did and I missed it.
Customer Review: Great Stuff! Summary: 5 Stars
Works just like the product says, not sticky and dries clear. It has a little give so you can remove the item later, however once it settles the item stays in place. Using too much makes it seep out, but cleanup is a breeze. I used it for porcelain figurines on glass shelves.
