This stuff is what I call "one of the Essentials" for odd products you should have around. It can be used in so many ways: upright, things stay up; vertically, you can keep pictures flat or level, and keep items from swinging side to side. You can lose the shelf from the wall but your items will still be one the shelf. In fact, in that event, you shuld use another quake product to keep that shelf on the wall!Customer Review: Works as Advertised

I ordered this to solve simple mundane but aggravating issues: like keeping candles straight in their holders, keep items from sliding off my lap desk such as a cup or laser keyboard, and the normal stuff like vases and other sit around items from getting knocked off.
It is very pliable, reusable, removable, and I have not had any surfaces damaged. For me, it was a good purchase and worth the money.

I had been told that this was one of the best products for holding objects in place but it has not worked at all for me. It did not stick to the glass object I wanted held down, nor did it stick to the shelf. I tried another item after working the putty well and it too did not stick. I wonder if this was a bad batch or perhaps had been on the shelf too long. I am awaiting instructions for returning it.Customer Review: Great product!

The Quake Hold museum putty worked great!
Needed to secure my china cabinet nicknacks and this worked great!
I have a lot of glass so I need to get the clear gel for those, the tan putty is holding them for now really well!
I'm able to move them around easily as well. Putty is staying flexible but holding great!
Would recommend to anyone!

This is the second time I have ordered this product. It works far better than I ever expected. I used it to hold many items in our motorhome. As we go down the road the clocks stay on the wall and the china accents stay in place. After 7 years I have yet to have any damage in our unit (and we have been across the country and back on lots of bad roads!). Hope this stays on the market!
