Tools and Hardware Reviews of Cigar Caddy® 3400Customer Review: 5-cigar caddy Summary: 5 Stars
I ride my motorcycle a lot and in Arizona a cigar does not last long outside a humidor! I bought this primarily for road trips to keep the cigars from drying out or getting busted up. The Caddy works great and is durable enough for your finest cigars. I typically smoke cigars with a ring of 52 and 7" long churchill style which is pushing the advertised 5 cigar capacity. The lenght is not a problem just the width. I take four so I don't smash the cigars. A ring of 48 or less would probably allow for 5 cigars in this sturdy case. All in all a good value that will keep your favorite cigars safe on a journey.
Customer Review: Good case, but watch the humidity Summary: 5 Stars
I'm generally quite pleased--the case is extremely convenient and well made--but it took some fiddling with the humidifier to get the humidity right. The first time I filled it with Propylene glycol, my hygrometer read an 80% humidity, which is much too high. I left it open to dry out, and tried again with a smaller amount of PG, and this time got an acceptable level of 70%.
The case will do exactly what it's supposed to, and do it well, but make sure you're giving it the right PG level.
Customer Review: Great For Travel Summary: 5 Stars
Well, I wouldn't really call this "Case" a "Humidor". However, I am very happy I purchased it. I keep my few choice premium cigars in it with a Humid-Pac so I know they are protected and it seems to keep them just moist enough. This case is definately rugged enough for any traveling you might do. I know my stogies will arive with me fresh and bend-free. Shipping from seller was very fast as well..Pleased with my experience & will purchase again from them..
Customer Review: Cigar Caddy 3400 Summary: 5 Stars
It's definitely a durable, solid product. I would reccomend it to anyone who is looking for a travel case for a few cigars. I would be careful about putting much water in the oasis, especially if you are taking cigars from your regular humidor. I added a few drops, but I noticed that cigars can easily become too moist if they are in the caddy. This thing is rugged and it's perfect for a few days of travel.
Customer Review: Great case, not so great humidifier Summary: 5 Stars
I've had mine for two years now and it is an outstanding case. The humidification sponge in the case leaves a lot to be desired. I have sacrificed one of the cigar slots and put a Drymistat Humidifier Tube in its place and it keeps my cigars perfectly for months between refills. I carry my with me everywhere.
