Customer Review: Great product overall, but may need new rope

I researched a number of hoist systems and overall have been very pleased with this one. It is very solid construction and very easy to mount. The only complaint I have is that the rope has started to fray a bit, as suggested in other reviews, but would be easy and cheap to replace at the point that I need to.
I have two systems mounted to the ceiling that is about 14' high, and the included ropes are just long enough.

I bought three of these units to help eliminate the clutter in the garage. I have them installed and they all work very well. I looked at more expensive units from other companies but these units are just as good and much cheaper. They do take some time to install but there they are worth it because they really do free up space in the garage. You will not be disappointed with these units and I highly recommend them.

I bought 2 of these. They were easy to put up and work great. One is over the front of my truck and the other is over the front of my wife's car with plenty of clearance. The RAD Cycle Hoist is a decent product for a great price. Quality of construction is average, but for my use it is adequate. The RAD Cycle hoist allowed me to gain valuable garage space. Compared to my old wall mount bicycle storage hooks, the RAD Cycle Hoist is much easier to use. No more back-breaking lifting my bicycles over my head while I try to hook a tire. Excellent product and well worth the money. Virtually identical to a more expensive model offered by another manufacturer. Fairly easy to install once you find the ceiling joists. Recommend NOT cutting the extra rope until you lower it to the ground the first time. It makes putting the bike back up a little challenging if the rope is too short! If you need extra room in your garage this product is a must have!
