I bought four sets of these and installed two in my garage. I installed them on an eleven foot ceiling for two beach cruiser bicycles. I measured from the back of the seats to the handle bars and used this measurement for the installation. I did not find it necessary to bend the hooks or make any changes except that I did use my own wood screws. These hooks work perfectly for what I need them for. I plan on installing the other two sets this fall for two more bicycles and am confident that they will work just as well. I would recommend this product.Customer Review: Perfect for my two bikes

I bought two and very please with the product. They were straight forward to install and use. Make sure you measure carefully between your seat and handle bars. You want the bracket spacing such that they are directly above the handle bars and seat.
Don't cut the rope too short (like I did). It's length needs to be 5 times the height of the pulley to the ceiling when at the lowest point plus the distance between the brackets. For me, that is almost 50 feet of rope.
I bought a replacement rope at Home Depot.

I never have space for anything anymore, especially my bike. I know me and plenty of other people can find a place to put these things, they just take up so much space. Well now that I I got this item, my day is actually brighter. I don't know why I'm so happy with this product, but it worked great for me and is lasting very well. I've got to recommend this to all, because I'm sure you'll be happy with it too. It even comes with a lifetime warranty, isn't that sweet. I am impressed by the cost, quality and convenience of this pulley system. It took about 3 hours to install four in our garage, including a trip to Lowes for four 1x6 boards and some anchoring screws to ensure a secure fit. The directions were pretty good, my only recommendation is to have someone assisting with the installation to help with dropped screws, etc. I could not be happier with how easy it is to raise and lower the bikes, so easy that even my 6 year old daughter is able to raise and lower her bike on her own.Customer Review: Decent at best

This bicycle mount is decent at best. It mounts well into the ceiling, u must attach to a crossbeam though, sheetrock will not hold the weight of a bike.
The cord will come of the pulleys pretty easily which means u have to climb up a ladder to put them back on track every time, real beatdown. the hooks that u put under the seat & handlebars are not hooked enough & super hard to bend.
Not a great product but works decent at best if you have to get your bike off the ground in the garage.
