This item came in a timely manner. It was fairly easy to install (my husband helped me and we are fairly proficient with tools). Once installed it worked like a charm and I am very happy with it. I use it to store my flat files with paper and paintings and that gives me more room on the floor for work space.

Shipping from Amazon is always TOPS ! Purchased the Racor ceiling storage unit. Followed the written instructions, watched the YouTube video and working alone (I am 63) found the storage unit relatively EZ to install. All parts needed were included in the parts box and all fit exactly as they should. I give the product 5 stars.Customer Review: Serves its purpose very well.

Overall it does the job. I once again agree with the other reviewers that the lag bolts supplied are not very good, especially if you are driving them into hard wood. Recommend getting some others from Lowes/Home Depot. Otherwise not very difficult to set up once you have aligned your joist positions. I would buy this item again.Customer Review: Great Storage

The item is heavy but putting it up was fairly strait forward. The rack easily lifts the items to the top. One problem is if the items stick out over the edge the crack is somewhat difficult to get to but this is not really a problem. Cranking is also slow because of the gearing but that is needed when lifting the heavy load.Customer Review: It works but stripped threads don't inspire confidence

I just spent about two hours putting one of these up. It's a great concept but the hardware they supply is cheap. I had a bunch of stripped bolts and the two big washers that hold the winding axle in place were missing.
For something that's going to sit above my car the cheap hardware doesn't inspire confidence.
