Customer Review: I am hooked on the U1000!

I am using these in conjunction with the other Tornado hooks to hang my Tanaka string trimmer (and accessories) and I am extremely happy with how they are holding up.

Now unlike the other Tornado hooks, the U1000 has a permanently attached fastener, but that doesn't effect how it works or installs at all. The hook digs right into the dry wall with ease.

At an impressive 35 lbs (20 lbs for sheetrock only, 50 for stud only, or 35 for sheetrock and stud) the U hook is able to hold most anything you I can throw at it and with ease!

After installing about a half a dozen different brands and types of storage hooks, these are by far the best I have found thus far that do not require a special backboard or "system". Combined with Tornado's J and L hooks you can get your garage, shop, or shed organized like a pro.

Pros:
Exception quality, nothing even comes close to these.
Permanently attached fastener/hook combo makes for a tool-less installation.
Can hold a crazy amount of weight compared to a typical screw in hook, even when install in just drywall.
Made in the USA!

Heavy-duty Racor/Tornado hooks by E-Z Ancor. Features include: Extended-length plate design distributes weight better for superior holding power. Solid metal construction, with no weld points, adds strength and reliability. Unique cutting wings on tip self-drill into drywall or wood. Patented bi-level thread diameter holds tight in drywall or wood. Smooth fastener head provides finished look. U-hook is made of rubber-coated zinc alloy. Load capacity: Up to 20 lb. in drywall, up to 50 lb. in wood stud, and up to 35 lb. if both. These hooks feature a permanently attached fastener and therefore do not include a tang or leveling lines. Includes 2 hooks and 4 screws per card.
