Customer Review: Leaks at fittings, plastic cracks too easily

Purchased two of these digital water timers to run water to container gardens. Within the first week both developed leaks due to cracking in the fittings. By the other comments on Amazon, it seems I am not alone in my complaints with the plastic fittings included with both the digital and analog timers. Raindrip doesn't seem to have a presence on the web, nor is their a convenient way to purchase replacement parts at my local retail stores. Another disappointed user, and formerly enthusiastic booster for all things Raindrip branded. Now I'll be more careful to only purchase professional drip irrigation products, and not these hastily made, parts with minimal quality control. Don't waste your money on these small irrigation solutions, they break too quickly to be useful.
