Many uses, great quality. I bought the fat trapper many years ago and this is one of the few places to get replacement bags. They are strong and hold up well. I pour super hot grease into my bags all the time and have no problems. They never leak. Then when I want to throw it out I put the container in the fridge, let it get hard, then toss in the garbage. The best part is there is no smell. I've filled it with all kinds of grease and oil and food particles mixed in, even had mold grow inside, but while it's closed you don't smell anything!!
It can also be used for compost scraps or dog scraps from cooking or the table (keep in the fridge until use if feeding to the dog please).
And it's a great car sick bag or for when you're sick in bed and might throw up. Better than using a bucket and having to clean the bucket out after you toss your cookies. With this you just fold it down, pinch it closed, and put in the garbage. If you fold it properly there will be no leaks and no smell.
My only complaint is I use so many of them I wish they were cheaper. But since they are high quality I'll keep buying them.
PS) One tip I'd like to share. If you put animal grease it in you can put in fridge to get hard and throw out even if full and not closed. But if you are putting hot vegetable oil in it you must close it properly before throwing it out if you want to avoid spillage into your regular garbage bag. BUT if you put a paper towel or two inside the trapper bag then pour vegetable oil in it, this helps a little to keep it from getting too messy when you put it in the regular garbage. BUT I do recommend you compost whenever possible!!
