I needed to replace our old gray "porcelain" drip pans because they had food by-products baked onto them. These clean easier than all metal pans but don't let that fool you. These must have a coating of porcelain because a magnet will stick to them. The black color makes them harder to see burnt food stuff so I now clean these more often than before. But that's your choice. The fine print on the instructions state they should not be put in the oven on the self-clean cycle. The fit in our GE range was good, not fantastic, but it works.
