I purchased this item because we had been storing our batteries in a zip-lock bag in a cabinet in our kitchen. When the unit arrived, I was somewhat disappointed that one corner was broken off where the screw hole was, but I was able to super glue that back. I mounted my unit in our pantry on the side of a shelf rack. Now I have easy access to all the batteries and can see at a glance how many we have or if we need to get more. The battery checker works ok with all but the largest batteries, with those it takes some finess to get the battery turned just right to check it. I didn't however purchase the unit for the battery tester. I would highly recommend the unit.Customer Review: Handy dandy - wish I had two

I have so many rechargeable batteries that when I collect them out of the toys and games and other stuff for regular re-charging, this thing is filled! I love that it has a little detachable battery tester at the top. My 11-year-old frequently mixes up the old with the fully charged and now he can even use this to see which are the right ones to use. I wish it had more space for AA's but that's just a personal preference.
I was easily able to find fresh batteries during our last round of big storms and power outages. The batteries are now organized and I'm not wasting time checking the dates on alkaline batteries or mixing old with new.

It looks smaller than I expected, which I like, so it can fit easily on a small part of a book shelf... It would fit easily in part of a drawer, leaving room to spare. I would like it a little better if it had a bottom that didn't have holes where the batteries are (there isn't a solid plastic piece across the entire bottom, each section has sort of a hole if there is not battery in it). In the picture it looked like it had a solid white bottom. Still all in all, you can fit a lot of batteries in it, and they are easy to place and retrieve. It is nice and solid. I like the battery gauge, although it is a bit awkward (you have to tilt the batteries).Customer Review: An incredibly useful tool for any household!

I had dozens of batteries lying all over my apartment. The testing tool allowed me to discard a few used ones, and to discover that I have enough batteries for years to come. It also provides an excellent storage space that fits perfectly into my kitchen drawer giving me easy access to batteries when I need them. My favorite aspect of this tool is the ability to change only 1/2 or 1/4 batteries in any tool that is low on energy rather than replace all four. That saves money. I strongly recommend this tool. I only wish it was also designed only for AAA + AA batteries since those are much more commonly used, but that problem is easily solved.Customer Review: Great Solution for a Great Price

This thing is great. I am a rechargeable battery kind of guy, and I have struggled to find a battery organizer that has the options I need. With the included tester and the massive amount of AA and moderate amount of AAA storage, this thing is great.
The only drawback is that they C and D battery holders take up so much space. I only have one application that used C batteries, and they are typically in the device if not being charged, so essentially HALF of the organizer is not being used at any given time. I have solved this by using the spots as RCR123 holders, but the amount of wasted space is still a drawback.
