Use this thing all the time, the LEDs get long battery life.
New products employ magnifying lenses, but this one i belive was one of the early products...
I think they sell a double package with 2 head lights, get that one... these are so useful.

Although this headlamp got great reviews I never expected such high quality. The lights are very bright, the headband fits well and it feels very well constructed. If Amazon starts restocking this I'll get a few more for gifts. Good job Rayovac.Customer Review: Good light for emergency !

Very good price, option of different types of lights; including one for dark and hands free operation; don't you think it makes for very good emergency light?
Even battery pack is modular, so it is easy to remove when not in use.

These have lasted much longer than I ever expected with my two boys. They throw them, hit things with them, drop them etc. and they are still going strong. The spares I purchased haven't even been taken out of their packages. Excellent.
