When I first ordered the Red Devil 6214EZ, I was fully expecting yet another tired rehash of the previous Red Devil 6200 Series. Imagine my surprise when I found an item that had been completely redone, with multiple improvements put into effect.
First of all, the way this fits into my hand is beyond belief. The entire time that I was holding it, it felt completely natural. In fact, at the end of the night, when I went to bed, my wife had to remind me to put the patching knife away!
Secondly, the ease of use is phenomenal. I was expecting a complicated, complex set of instructions, but to my amazement, there were no instructions at all -- allowing me to discover how to use it on my own. I appreciate a company that understands most of us want to experience the joys of discovery on our own.
Lastly, the durability of this item cannot be overemphasized. While I was using the patching knife, a team of yakuza assassins broke in and attempted to murder me. Throwing stars and daggers were flying everywhere, but my Red Devil 6214EZ Patching Knife handled all of them -- without the slightest ding.
All in all, this item far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone.
