I was more than a little surprised at how very good these shades are for such an affordable price. These are THE simplest shades I have ever installed. They block out a fair amount of light too. I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish they darkened the room just a bit more. Please understand I am not complaining, they really are a great light filtering shade. You can't beat the price. It is super easy to cut to size and there are little plastic covers to finish off the ends. The only problem I have with it is that it really isn't room darkening. My daughters room gets direct sunlight for most of the day and this blind just doesn't really help. It is improved over a blind with no "darkening", but it is not for rooms that are super sunny.Customer Review: Great affordable shade

I was really surprised by this shade. We got this size and the larger one and both were great. It didn't quite fit the window but was easy to trim down with a box cutter. The raising/lowering mechanism is better than I expected for the price. This should last us until we can find the drapes we really want.Customer Review: good shade, lousy tape

Ten minutes after I hung these shades, exactly as directly, they fell down. After purchasing some additional heavy duty, 2 sided adhesive to rehang they have worked nicely. It would have been nice if an adequate adhesive had been included and I did not have to make a trip to the store...Customer Review: vinyl shades

My husband and I have recently moved into a new home and the drapes have not been completed so we had no privacy. Someone told us about the temporary shades and we love them! More people have commented on them than they did on my new furniture! We highly recommend them to everyone!!
