Customer Review: Don't Waste Your Money

I bought 2 of these and was thrilled when they came. I bought 2 after reading the review about the shade being not very sturdy paper, and it is not all that sturdy.
Cutting was no problem. My big problem was getting it to stay in and on the window. I even went rummaging through my crafts, I used double sided tape, glue dots, etc. Nothing would keep this shade in the window for more than 20-30 minutes. Then it hit me, VELCRO. YEP! I velcroed that shade to the window and haven't had a problem since. When this wears out, I would use window shade #2, but I will not buy another one. Can't recommend it - I will just go for the high dollar investment next time.
Don't let anyone fool you, it looks like a middle weight paper. It is not window shade quality.

Well, I wrote the above a month ago, the Velcro, did not work. The shade still falls down, then I tried double sided tape, fell down, today I tried Super Glue, the glue just soaked through the paper. I took my second shade which I had already purchased, cut an inch shorter, & have tried craft permanent glue tape which I used for my crafts. For the past 30 minutes, it hasn't fallen. It's just hard to believe I'm the only one this is happening to. I also downgraded to 1 star. This spring, I'm buying one of those expensive shades that this one looks nothing like.
