Customer Review: Broke after two days

For what looks like no reason this alarm just started going off continuously after being installed for only two days. I figured it got wet and let it dry for a day or two but it is still broken. The wire that leads into the sump pump area is very flimsy and I suspect that there is a break in the wire somewhere but it is very strange that it would just stopped working after only two days without being touched.
I would not recommend this product!

The discharge line on our new dish washer started leaking for some unknown reason. Before we noticed it ,the water got under our laminate floor and we experienced some warpage. I installed the flood alert behind the dishwasher so if this happens we will have some warning. I tested the unit and it seems to sound an adaquate loud signal. Time will tell if this thing works. I hope I never have to find out by flooding again.Customer Review: Doesn't shut off when dry

Product doesn't shut off when dry, have to remove battery to reset it. I will attempt to have them replace but I am doubtful of quality. I also purchased the Zircon 63931. It does shut off when dry, but is not as loud. There is a Canadian made brand that looks to be of better quality but with higher cost. I might give this a try; at this time it is not sold through Amazon.Customer Review: Cheap but effective

This cheap but effective alarm works perfect for my sump pump. It has 2 types of tones: music or siren. The siren is louder which is needed to hear it from upstairs in a 2 story house. I do not have a finished basement so I do not know if it would be loud enough if i did. However I am satisfied with the product fully.Customer Review: It does what it is set to do - even 5 years later with same battery

I put this device next to the 2nd floor bathtub.
5 years later, I moved out of the house and rented it. The maid tried to mop the area, and the alarm went off...
I will buy couple more to put next to the upstairs air condition (Florida air condition drains sometime gets clogged with Algae).
