I purchased this product because of its low battery signal. This is a feature that it does not have. What the directions do instruct you to do is test the alarm, and if it sounds weak then replace the battery. If i did not need the alarm asap then I would return it. other wise it operates as described.Customer Review: Good product

Very good product. The sensor has a suction cup that can help attach it to smooth surfaces. The sensor is small enough that it can fit in small nooks and the long wire to the alarm allows you to place the actual alarm a few feet away. The alarm has 2 sounds: alarm or music. Very inexpensive insurance. Saved me from a minor crisis two days after I installed it. Alarm went off at midnight when the stupid flex hose compressed the sump pump float. I put this alarm in my sump pump crock like it said. But the condensation in the crock got across the terminals and set off the alarm. The water level was below the alarm and never got that high but the wetness in the pit set off the alarm and made it useless.Customer Review: Saved My Basement!!

I bought this for a sump pump in our basement and about a year ago the pump failed and the alarm did its job. I caught it just in time and only had to pay for a new pump.
Only reason for the 4 stars, is it could be a little louder.
