ANY ONE THAT HAS EVER HAD TO MAKE OR REPAIR BED RAILS NEED THESE. A (WHAT I CALL OLD WAY) ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SCREW THESE ON THE BED RAIL AND BED POST AND YOUR DONE. THE OLD WAY YOU HAVE TO CUT A GROVE IN POST AND RAILS,. DRILL TWO HOLES IN SIDE OF POST AND RAIL.WITH THE FASTENERS THEIR NO PINS NO DRILLING NO CUTTING JUST SCREW THEM ON AND YOUR DONE. GREAT PRODUCT, I WILL BE ORDERING THEM AGAIN, THANKS AMAZON MJM
