Have not installed this yet so that will be a later write-up. Had to comment on the absolutely poor delivery provided by Pilot. Was scheduled for December the 3rd originally, then was advised it would be late, and I'd receive a follow-up call to reschedule. Never came. I called myself and had to initiate that whole effort. Well, after setting aside my December 11th, Saturday afteroon...for between 11 and 3 for the re-delivery, it didn't show up. As the day went on close to 3, about 2:15 I did call on status. Response; it would be later. No idea where it was. At first the records did not even show it had been delivered to the shipping point at Pilot. Guess that is why I had to make numerous corrections on the phone numbers to call...they didn't complete all the records to show it had arrived at their facility, among other things. So, back to Saturday, I called again around 4pm. Still no idea where it might be. Finally, someone there had the brainstorm to decide to actually call the truck to see if it was on it and would be delivered. Wow, what a concept! Of course after that and all the previous phone calls, the dispatch office didn't have the guts to call back and tell me status; they had the driver do it. Nice way to toss an overscheduled couple of employees under the bus, management. What a joke. So, anyway, got the product around 5:30. Was not too late for a planned dinner with friends, but resulted in a later arrival for that event that I wanted. Hey Pilot, what about that guarantee...what is it, free if it is not on time? Well, do have to admit, your telephone dribble states, "It's free...". Does not say what "it" might be. Maybe free bullxxxx. Thanks for the extra. Know we're not getting enough of that out of Washington DC these days. Don't expect Pilot to do the right thing...let alone an apology so I'm not going to sit by the phone and wait. The delivery guys felt obligated to do that for you anyway Pilot. They were the only decent gents, or ladies, in the fiasco. My advice is to pay the extra few bucks on the shipping and go with another outfit for delivery, unless you are up to your neck in debt and need a reason for the the credit card hit to go into the next month. If the latter, select Pilot for your shipping. What a bunch of clowns. As far as the purchase from Amazon...painless, and when I had question, very helpful...advice and phone numbers when I needed them.
