Customer Review: Rite Lite is the right light for me!

This product has Velcro/hook & loop style tape to adhere onto surfaces. One can also use the enclosed screws. The screws may be shipped and bagged inside the product where the batteries are to be installed.
The hook and loop tape pieces are connected to the back of each light by a small drop of clear silicon.
Peel away the connected hook and loop pieces to expose the screw mounting hole.
Once the hook and loop tape pieces are removed, peel away protective backing on each piece. Place one on back of light and the other where you want the light to be fastened.
AAA batteries are needed and pulling away the backing of the light for installation is easy.
Positioning the light's angle by pressing the edge of the clear plastic and rotating the surrounding body is easy.
Pressing the center of the clear plastic to change the brightness from Hi, Low and Off was easy also.
I was pleasantly surprised with the brightness of these lights.

I bought these lights to light up my audio recording desk I bought. These lights are very bright.
I installed them using the Velcro instead of using the screw option. I was afraid they wouldn't hold and would constantly be falling off, but that's not the case at all. When I pull down on it to replace the batteries the base holds just fine against the desk.
The center AAA battery is a little touch to get out because of the side grips. That would be my only complaint.
They don't seem to have much spread to them. Barely useful on the desk, but I mainly installed them for an effect, not to actually see anything.
I do however, keep on handy for late night walks through the house to grab a snack here and there and they work great as a little flash light. A little big to carry around with you outside the home, but you could possibly keep on in your glove compartment of your car.
These lights are super bright white lights.

RiteLite LPL623 5-LED Pivot and Swivel Puck Light, Grey, 3-Pack
I'm delighted with this 5 LED puck light. What an excellent value. I bought my three pack for occasional lighting in our vintage travel trailer. Velcro-like hook and loop as well as permanent fastener attachments are included. Plenty of light for reading and they swivel to focus the light. But, be realistic: these battery powered lights can't be expected to be left on all night without consuming the batteries. (I suggest keeping extra AAA batteries on hand.) Best for brief intermittent use much like you'd use a flashlight: closet, cabinet, entertainment center, camper or workbench.

These puck lights are easy to hang and put off quite a bit of light in comparison to other similar battery operated lights I have seen and tried. I like to use them in areas where I want a little more light but not worth paying an electrician to install permanent fixtures. I would like to install some under my kitchen cabinets but they are a strong white light and I prefer a warm light in that area--that is the only reason I have given them a 4. I use rechargeable batteries and as of yet have not needed to recharge the batteries.Customer Review: 3 -pack, I just needed 2

They work great in the car, I put them up as reading lights. You push the center to turn them on and off. They take AAA batteries also. The adhesive tape isn't great. Industrial Velcro works best. Last problem, I have one extra just lying around, I wish they came in 2 packs.
edit: after almost two years I can say that I have broken the retaining clips holding it to the interior of my truck. All three pucks are now just hand held flashlights...
