Tools and Hardware Reviews of Rite Lite LPL623W 5 LED Puck Light 3 Pack - WhiteCustomer Review: Buyer beware... Summary: 2 Stars
If you're ok with the bright white flourescent/dentist office/lightning white look, then this is your puck light. No, not halogen either. My mistake was thinking it was more a soft yellow light, but it's not. I'm stuck with the trio and it was all because I did not read word for word very carefully. For the money i guess it serves it's purpose of lighting a small area. BUT, it is not like "lightbulb" quality yellow...though more like flourescent stark white ....i'm just sayin'. I wish i could find some kind of filtered film i could peel and stick over it to soften the glow but I can't be bothered, to be honest. OH, one last thing: it took over 3 weeks to get here, so you can just imagine the buildup and let down.
Customer Review: convenient Summary: 4 Stars
I find these little lights to be convenient and useful. I like the Velcro strips on the back which make them easy to remove when you're changing the batteries. I'm sure there are people who like the dual brightness option but I don't. I can't imagine why anyone would want the dim setting for a light that is so weak in the first place. So, each time you have to turn the light off, you have to tap it twice. The first tap gets you to the "dim" mode and the second tap turns it off. I would have preferred only one setting, requiring only one tap to turn on and off. I looked for ones like that but could not find any in this quantity, for this price. So I guess it's worth the little bit of annoyance.
Customer Review: Work fine, with one major flaw Summary: 4 Stars
These lights work fine for what they are. The double-sticky velcro makes them easy to put where you want them. The light is not as bright as I'd hoped but it does the job illuminating dark closets, which is what I bought them for.
The one major flaw is that it has two brightness modes; each tap rotates through bright -> dim -> off, so it takes two taps to turn it off. Trouble is, dim is really not any dimmer than bright, so its not that useful, and twice already i've tapped it on the way out thinking I was turning it off, but instead turning it to not-so-dim, and ended up draining the batteries because it stayed on for days. Would have been better if it was just a simple on-off.
Customer Review: Rite Lite LPL623w 5 led Great lights Summary: 5 Stars
I bought a pack when big lots had them cheap, & ocassionally used them as handy flashlights,
I lost one light, the other two still work fine.BUt I quit using them, & decided to go led lighting in the house.
I had a spare 3.6 volt adapter, & wired them into it, & plugged the adapter into a light fixture, hanging just over the loft. For slightly more than one watt, it lights my living room
all night, I turn it on for 4 hours, & by 10 pm I turn it off, the batteries keep it going all night, By morning it finally goes out.
Hey, what a deal, almost free light all night long, & I dont run into anything in the dark anymore.

Customer Review: Emergency Lights Summary: 5 Stars
I got these lights because my 2 year old does not like the power going out when it dark outside. They are great!! The RiteLite Five LED Pivot and Swivel Puck Light, White, 3-Pack #LPL623W are perfect for her. They are lightweight and small enough to hold. They give off enough light to see by when the power goes out, entertains my daughter while the power is out(she won't let go away from her) and is easier, lighter and safer than carring a flashlight(that needs to be used by me or my husband).
If you are needing the lights for other reasons, keep in mind that they are only enough light for decorative or low level lighting, but for me, they are not made to be task lighting.
