Purchased these Puck lights for my craft closet that is without a light. When they got here I realized each one needed 3 AAA batteries, so I needed 9 total. Then I used the sticky stuff and stuck each to the wall. One stayed up, the other two did not eventhough they were against the exact same type of wall. One does not light a closet enough for my 20/20 vision. I have to have 2 on.
So to summarize the bads - need lots of batteries, falls down instantly, you have to press it twice to get it to turn off, and when you press the thing it pivots and you have to move it back to the position you had it.
Find a different press light - these are not worth it.

I LOVE THESE LIGHTS. I NEEDED THEM FOR MY COMPUTER DESK, WHICH IS 2 LEVELS. IT'S ALWAYS DARK AND I DID TRY A FEW OTHER LIGHTS AND THEY EITHER FELL DOWN OR WEREN'T BRIGHT ENOUGH. I JUST GOT THESE TODAY AND ALREADY PUT THEM UP AND ACTUALLY HAVE ONE ON AS I AM TYPING.
THESE ARE GREAT.
I WAS A LITTLE HESITANT AFTER READING SOME OF THE REVIEWS BUT I ORDERED ANYWAY.
I LOVE THEM.
THEY ARE BRIGHT, YOU CAN AIM THE LIGHT AND THEY ARE LIGHT WEIGHT, THEY WON'T FALL DOWN BECAUSE THE VELCRO IS STRONG.
IF YOU NEED LIGHTS ANYWHERE, THESE ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN.
I AM ACTUALLY ORDERING ANOTHER SET FOR MY BEDROOM CLOSETS.

I don't know why anyone would rate it less then 5 stars- it does exactly what its made to do. It won't light your entire house, nor is it supposed to. But for closets and other small areas it is perfect. They can be stuck on a surface using the included two-sided tape which is what I did and it sticks great, or you can easily screw them on the surface. They can be adjusted in every direction to put the light where you need it. Easy on/off just by pushing the top center of the light. I bought 6 for our RV and will use all 6 and maybe even buy more. Bottom line- they do exactly what you expect and what they are made for, for a great price too.Customer Review: Just what I was seeking

I needed some additional light in the dark corners of our little fiberglass travel trailer and these fit the bill. Two went in a closet, one went into a front outside storage compartment. I especially like the bulbs are spread out, giving area light rather than a focused spot. I also like the lights both swivel and pivot.
The light is classic blue-white LED light, not warm-white at all; but that didn't matter for my needs. I suspect I'm a poor evaluator of their durability, I've had them but three months and they are only used infrequently...hardly an endurance test. Regardless, i'm pleased with the purchase.

Just got these - ordered two packages (6 lights). I was wanting something for the attic that wouldn't require wiring...or would not be a fire/safety issue like regular light bulbs. These are quite nice and fit the bill. About every four to five feet I placed one and am surprised by the amount of light they produce. I'm not sure yet if the velcro sticky backing will hold through the changing temperatures, but they can also be placed with a screw if needed. They're isn't much of difference between dim and bright, however that wasn't my concern when purchasing. So far, for my needs, I really like them.
