Tools and Hardware Reviews of Rite Lite LPL623W 5 LED Puck Light 3 Pack - WhiteCustomer Review: slight mounting problem Summary: 4 Stars
I got these lights to use in closets. They work well, if you position them so the light is pointing at your target. The light is a little "beam"-y, doesn't spread out as much as you'd think, but is bright enough. One of mine will not stay stuck to the hook-and-loop pad that sticks it on the wall. The pad stays stuck to the wall, but the light won't stick to it. They also have a screw hole for mounting which is probably easier anyway. The hook-and-loop is so strong that it's tough to remove the light from it to change batteries, but you can just unhook it from the screw easily.
Customer Review: LED Puck lights Summary: 3 Stars
This is 3-pack of lights - each puck light has 5 lights operated by 3 AAA batteries. I'm not crazy about the bluish tinge that LED lights produce, but that is not a reflection of this product - it is an LED product. These come with 2 ways to hand them - by screw or sticky backing, both work well. They turn on and off with a push of the dome and dim once as well. These lights are easy to use and very handy if you need some light in a dark space. I would not recommend them for mood lighting in bookshelves or under cabinets - simply because of the bluish light.
Customer Review: They work for me Summary: 4 Stars
I am quite satisfied with these lights, particularly considering they were $8 for the set of three when I bought them. I use them near the bed in the middle of the night when I need some light but do not want bright room lights.
They can be mounted with double stick foam tape which is included. The backing on this tape is a little hard to remove. But after a minute's work to remove it, the result was fine.
For me, they would be handier if they only had two settings - on and off - rather than three settings - on/dim/off.
Customer Review: Not quite bright enough but a nice product anyway Summary: 4 Stars
Like some of the other reviews state - these are not very bright. I wanted to light up a second keyboard in my office that sits under an enclosed hutch on a credenza, but three of these were not bright enough. They would work great mounted in a glass display for accent lighting on a curio or two, or for putting some light in a workshop or kitchen cabinet. For these purposes they would be perfect but were not what I was looking for in a light. Regardless, I kept them and found some good uses for them. Good product, just didn't fit my exact need.
Customer Review: DISAPPOINTED!!! Summary: 1 Stars
These under cabinets lights were a major bust!!! One failed to operate after a few days and after very little use. The light output from the two working ones is quite week. After three months of putting up with the very unsatisfactory performance. I am going to throw them away. ( I assume it is too late to return them ) A more complete and accurate explanation of the light out put or brightness would have been helpful in the beginning. Overall I have had very good experiences with Amazon and their products but this item was a total negative!!
