Tools and Hardware Reviews of Rite Lite LPL623W 5 LED Puck Light 3 Pack - WhiteCustomer Review: Terrific! Summary: 5 Stars
We live in Miami and are plagued with power outages related to bad weather and hurricanes. These lights are great and make my son feel secure that if the power does go out, he can always have an emergency light in every room. We also have used these to illuminate areas during hurricane related outages so that our pets, who are quite old, can find their way around the house. I first got these at Costco right after Hurricane Wilma (no power for 8 days....) and continue to stock up on them. They are definitely worth the price.
Customer Review: Wasted Money Summary: 1 Stars
I purchase a lot of products through Amazon and until now have been completely satisfied. I bought two packages of these LED lights to place under my kitchen cabinets. The only way I can tell if they are on is to put my head under the cabinets and look. I have had them one week and now only one will even turn on. I didn't want to drill holes
in my cabinets so I liked the option of the two sided adhesive. They fell off after about 5 minutes of mounting them. I even tried to super glue them. Very disappointing.
Customer Review: Bright Lights Summary: 5 Stars
I'm considering whether I can use more of these. The lights are bright and the glue is strong. I put one in a pantry closet and will use another one there on the opposite wall. There is a dimmer switch (pressure sensitive) but I use them mostly on high. The light can be tilted slightly within its frame to give directional light. I leave one by my writing pad in the kitchen, unattached, and use it like a small flashlight when I need to write a note in the dark. These are much better than the old style domed push-light.
Customer Review: Container for dead batteries Summary: 1 Stars
I bought one that took 4 AA batteries for use in a closet to illuminate a key box. The problem I found out is there is a red light blinking constantly, ostensibly so you can locate it in a dark space. Unless you are accessing the space frequently [as I do not], when you finally do, you will find that it has become a container for dead batteries, probably drained by the blinking light. I went back to using my rechargeable flashlight that came with a heavy duty cordless drill that I normally keep charged.
Customer Review: If mama's not happy, ain't nobody happy... Summary: 5 Stars
We got these convenient, battery operated lights for my mom's kitchen, as she wanted a bit more visibilty in some of the tighter spaces in the room, like under the stove hood & under all of the cabinets. She couldn't be more pleased with the results. They are super easy to install, with no wires to clutter-up things. These Rite Lite Puck Lights are perfect for what mom wanted & she was thrilled with the exceptional bargain we got on them via Amazon.com.
A win/win situation all the way around!
