I bought this light to hang in my kids' room because there is no overhead lighting and I don't want the little ones plugging and unplugging a table lamp. Unfortunately, this provides no more light than a nightlight. I could have gotten one of those round push-button emergency lights from the $1 store instead. I would not recommend this light to anyone.
