Bought two of these for our bedroom. Easy to install, fits in with the decor, but I thought that they'd be brighter. Not quite enough for reading in my opinion, but it is possible. Actually thought it was metal, but it's all plastic. All in all, not a bad buy, but it won't blow anyone's socks off.
