I tried the other "Green Tractor" the gears were gone in a month. Won't have to worry about this on the B3. Very impressed with how strong this sprinkler is, very heavy duty. Should last forever if proper care is taken to lube the moving parts as directed by owners manuel. Worth the extra money!!Customer Review: better than nelson.

i second bill's review above. I originally bought a nelson travelling sprinkler, but it was made of plastic gears (and broke 3 times on me). The rittenhouse travelling sprinker is 100x better because the gears are all metal, and the gear design is simpler and less prone to breaking.

This tractor works great. I have about 200 feet on an uphill angle and it walks right up. I do have to make sure that the ground is fairly smooth but unless there is a hole it will be fine.
