This is a new product on the market that with a knowledge of how it works and its limitations can be quite useful for the single repair person. It collapses into a movable tool with a big roller on one end and a handle on the other. It doesn't need to take a break or not show up and does not come with its own cell phone. With the right jobs it can be a second or third hand on the job and when you don't have paying jobs can be quite useful around the home for your to do list.The cost is a bit high but if you think about it, if your crew mate doesn't show up how handy is that ?Customer Review: Will not hold exterior door as pictured.

I bought the Jawhorse specifically to hang exterior doors. Pictured in their literature, is the Jawhorse holding a door in a position to to screw the door hinges into the frame. The Jawhorse will not hold a exterior door in the pictured position. The exterior door is just too heavy. The Literature did not specify whether the door pictured, was a interior or exterior door. I found out the hard way, it obviously was a interior door, which is much lighter. Also beware of losing those little springs. They fell off as soon as I pulled the Jawhorse out of the box it was shipped in.Customer Review: Partner with Jawhorse

I purchased the Jawhorse for my son after he bought his first home. He claims it is the best partner he has ever had. He just completed a storage shed in his backyard. He had some friends over to help him and they decided to buy the Jawhorse for themselves. I've bought my son many tools as gifts, but the Jawhorse has been by far the best gift I ever got him. Amazon.com had a good price and their free shipping got to us within the week. I and my son are very satisfied with this purchase and the tool. I purchased my JAWHORSE when I first saw it on an infomercial. I've had it now for about 3 months, and the only thing it doesn't handle is washing dishes. I tried to contact Rockwell with a suggested "improvement" but they don't have an e-mail link - only a telephone number.
Not that they would use it in their ads, I found it to be a great reloading bench for those of us who load our own ammunition.
It's easy to store and transport, and everyone who'se watched mine in action, has purchase one for themselves! I only wish it had been available 30 years ago...

I ordered this thing for use at my second home where I don't have the benefit of all the tools I have in my workshop. Couldn't be happier with its performance. Need a vise while working in the garage or out in the yard? This is your answer. Need a stable platform when you're cutting lumber? This is your answer. Some of the nitpickers here have whined about plastic parts etc. Take it from someone who put the thing to use right out of the box. It's a great tool that you will find plenty of use for. Take five minutes to read the instructions, unfold the legs and get to work!
