Tools and Hardware Reviews of Rockwell RK9000 JawhorseCustomer Review: It does everything I need it to. Summary: 5 StarsThis one is well made. I haven't had a single problem with it. It is easy to use and grasp the material nice and tight.
While I was out an electrical cantractor borrowed it the hold 2 inch conduit while he cut it. He said, it was great because he didn't need help holding the conduit. I use it for carpentry and it's great. I paid the $229 for mine but have gotten my moneys worth from its use.
Customer Review: Rockwell RK9000 Jawhorse Summary: 5 StarsMy portable workbench had just broken and I was in the market for a new one when I saw the infomercials on TV for the Jawhorse and thought, "What an ideal device if it performs as well as they say it does." It is a bit on the pricy side but it turned out to be worth every cent. I have used it for cutting, assembly, and just holding lumber so I could fit pieces together. I highly recommend it, it does all they say it will do in the advertisements.
Customer Review: Jawhorse Summary: 5 StarsBought the Jawhorse for my husband. He had never heard of the Jawhorse so it was a complete surprise. He thinks it's great although he hasn't had the time
or occasion to actually use it yet. I'm sure once he does he won't know what he ever did without it.
Customer Review: Great Product Summary: 5 StarsI first saw the Jawhorse on television while flipping channels. My attention was grabbed by an example of it holding a panel of sheetrock to a ceiling allowing for hands free work. One example after another convinced me that this would be a well used tool in my shop. My concern was that it may be made with too light of steel to be sturdy enough for all the things I wanted to do with it. I am thrilled to report that it is an excellent tool that is heavy duty and well made. My first project with it involved a 2 X 6 X 10'. It did a great job of clamping it in place while I measured and then sawed it to size. I have also used a router for making molding while the Jawhorse clamped the wood tightly in place, something that is very important to getting a good cut with the router.
In summary, I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to my next job with it which will be to clamp a bike in place while making adjustments to the derailer.
Customer Review: Believe The Reviews Summary: 5 StarsI ordered this thing for use at my second home where I don't have the benefit of all the tools I have in my workshop. Couldn't be happier with its performance. Need a vise while working in the garage or out in the yard? This is your answer. Need a stable platform when you're cutting lumber? This is your answer. Some of the nitpickers here have whined about plastic parts etc. Take it from someone who put the thing to use right out of the box. It's a great tool that you will find plenty of use for. Take five minutes to read the instructions, unfold the legs and get to work!
