Customer Review: Confused continents...
Summary: 4 Stars
This product is, as noted in other reviews, simple and easy to use: the decals are easily applied and readily removed and reapplied. The images complement animal-themed nurseries and appeal to babies who are starting to explore their worlds.
A couple of notes for others considering this particular set:
* These are mostly African animals... however this set includes toucans (South America), tigers (Asia) and a koala bear (Australia). This is a shame: it would have been easy enough to include any number of colourful African birds, leopards and/or cheetahs, and bush babies instead of these three tourists.
[okay - I'm a stickler about these types of things: tigers do *not* live in Africa!]
* The stickers themselves are somewhat translucent and the colours are relatively muted rather than saturated or bright. The zebra is charcoal/grey not black and white, which is a shame since newborns see strong black and white most clearly. We have applied the stickers on a yellow nursery wall, and the yellow/orange-toned animals like the giraffe look great. The other animals look okay, but it's possible that the elephant and rhino would look especially vivid on a blue wall.
